About us
Our story
A small non-profit in Bemposta, caring for the free-living cats of the village — and keeping them where they belong.
Why we exist
We began with a simple conviction: that the free-living cats around us deserve care, not removal. Rather than rehome healthy cats away from the territory they know, we bring food, sterilisation and veterinary care to them.
What started as a handful of volunteers feeding a few colonies has grown into a registered association — trapping, neutering and returning cats, treating illness and injury, and giving each cat a name and a story.
The people behind it
The association was founded by three volunteers who still run it today.
