About us
Our story
A small non-profit in Beira Baixa, caring for the free-living cats of the village and keeping them where they belong.
Why we exist
We began with a simple conviction: that the free-living cats around us deserve care, not removal. Rather than rehome healthy cats away from the territory they know, we bring food, sterilisation and veterinary care to them.
What started as a handful of friends adopting and sterilising local cats has grown into a registered association: promoting sterilisation, helping street cats access veterinary care, and giving each cat a name and a story. We are working with the relevant authorities towards an authorised CED programme.
